I say no thanks to AI in ArrangerKing

Someone on YouTube suggested that we added AI to grab tracks, and I had to reply that we actually already have had that, and that in fact it’s already implemented and possible, but hidden and I am not going to open for it.

Because I don’t think we need more AI in music making, and if you read the manual and learn how to rip arrangements yourself, it will actually only take you a couple of hours to be able to rip music tracks yourself in minutes going forward - and you will have learned a lot and listen to music in new ways.

AI is just killing it all, I think. But I am open about it so if people want to have it, we will open for it, I just vote no.

Here you can see a comparison, same track, ripped by AI (Top) and below the “Hello from Norway” (random text) for the original actual arrangement of David Guetta Titanium Imgur: The magic of the Internet

As you can see, AI gets it, but then it doesn’t get the nuances, I don’t like it!!

Hi Frits. Great to see all the new updates to ArrangerKing - they are really great. I would like the AI functionality to assist with the basic outline of a song, minus the nuances, as this just speeds up the process and one can then add in the nuances.

OK, I’ll send you a PM

Thanks for the mindbump. I was talking about excel but you could actually just tell chatgpt to do what arranger king does. I’m sure its even able to generate this broken midi. Thanks for making me aware of the fact, that we can use Language Models, to generate these rectangles (and for those of you hating on ai no matter what: i can also tell chatgpt to generate a python script because im to lazy to program it myself which would do the same thing and then instead of ai i would have a simple tool - again with the option to expoirt something meaningful
