Regarding this:

Some of the section lengths are of various arbitrary / seemingly random lengths after which comes apparently random repetitions… I think someone was just stoned and turned knobs and that there’s no actual arrangement to re-use in any other track…

For Merv’s track, a useful template could mark the main changes and approximate phrase lengths rather than impose fixed verse/chorus blocks. Keep transitions as optional cues, since the repetitions don’t land on a regular grid.
